Bertie Chippington’s Policy

Here at Chippington Towers we have a fundamental goal; to make our customers happy. Watching a new customer sample and enjoy our products at our events is always a joy for us because when you break it all down, the taking of an offering of food from someone is a deeply trusting thing to do. What we eat affects how we feel. When we enjoy food it makes us feel good. It tastes delicious and it fuels us. If we don’t enjoy our food because we just don’t like it we tend to make a strange noise, pull a funny face and we never eat that food again! That’s fair enough, that’s what makes us individuals. If, however, we don’t enjoy our food because it’s been badly made, packed or stored, your health and quality of life could be affected. This is the trust that our customers place in us and we take that trust extremely seriously and we take the trust that you place in us in the online world equally as seriously.

 

Data & Privacy

We promise that, if you buy from us online, your information will be stored on our system for no other reason than fulfilling your order and taking payment. Bertie can’t stand having his inbox on “that face-tube-inter-pages.thing” (the internet) all clogged up with “luncheon meat” (spam) and he won’t be helping others do that to you. None of your information will be shared with anyone. End of! Full stop! That’s what time it is!

Now and again we may want to send you an email to tell you of any offers or new products we may have. You may opt out of this if you would prefer not to receive these emails.

 

Orders

All of our products are made by us and are tested by us. Consequently you can rest assured that all our products are described accurately within our online shop.

We will endeavour to process and dispatch your order on the day we receive it. However, during extremely busy times, your order will be dispatched the next working day.

In the unusual event of an order getting through to us for an out of stock item, you will be offered a full refund or your order can be held until we have your item back in stock.

 

Delivery

We would much prefer to see you at our market events because we love meeting our customers and, of course, there’s no postage and packaging costs for you. We understand that’s not always possible so if you do order online your parcel will be delivered to you by Royal Mail.

The postage price for your order will be shown as you add products to your basket and a total postage charge will be clearly displayed at the checkout. If you haven’t received your order within 5 working days of receiving your dispatch e-mail then please contact us.

 

Payment

We take online security very seriously and to help us help you to keep your hard earned in its rightful place we use SagePay to process customer credit and debit card payments. Payment information is not stored on our website and is encrypted in transit using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. SagePay use the highest commercially available encryption key length of 128-bits provided by VeriSign.

 

Finally

We want you to have a trouble free experience when you shop with us. However, whilst Bertie is very close, nobody is perfect and if we drop a clanger we promise you two things.

  1. Our best efforts to put it right (and if we can’t put it right you will be offered a refund).

  2. That we learn from our mistake.
